Lots of Islandshire fun is planned for the official Campaign for Wool "Wool Week". Bunty will be hosting her first annual Islandshire Wool Show -- with all kinds of exhibits, sheep and fun wool items to buy! She's setting up her own blog page here, and there should be new entries pretty much every day. Wool Week actually lasts for two weeks, so be sure to check back often. You can subscribe to the Gazette page here, as well as subscribing to Bunty's Blog for every update.
Benny and Nanea are very happy in their Island House! They've been living here for more than a year now, and it's more like home every day. Of course, decorating and personalizing your house is a never ending project, but Nanea wanted everyone to have a short tour of their house.
She always makes a lot of snacks for any visitors that might happen to stop by . . .
No one from Hawaii invites you in without offering a nice bowl of Poi, right? There's always a fresh bowl on the table, but Nanea's "snack of choice" is actually peanut butter on celery. She learned that it's healthy for you, so she's cultivating a taste for it! There are always some apples with peanut butter dip, coconut drinks and a variety of other tasty things.

Benny really takes charge of the stove and grill most of the time, so there's always a kabob or grilled corn waiting . . . sometimes a burger! When it's not in use for baking, the oven doubles as a refrigerator (anything can happen in Islandshire) -- where you will always find a container of fresh eggs. Nanea's pet chicken, Flossie, lays three eggs a day!
And you'll always see Flossie and Aulani (Benny and Nanea's pet bird) around the place. Aulani flies in and out, and Flossie gets walked on a leash to special outings. Even their pet turtle, 'Olu, comes around sometimes . . . if he's not out by the lagoon.
If you come over in the late afternoon, the house will probably look nice and neat. Look up in the bed, though, and you'll probably catch Benny taking an afternoon nap.
One of the newest additions to their house is a pineapple-shaped ukulele. Both Nanea and Benny are practicing their musical skills, so just ask for a song. And if you ask Nanea to hula for you, she'll even dance the Kaleponi Hula!
Some fun additions are planned for the near future -- including a cork board with Nanea's Disney Aulani pin collection -- so, check back for more photos soon.
