While it's nice food and a good price, we thought it would be nice to show a doll with each set to illustrate what you do (or don't) get in a pack. Being vegetarian, the only two pieces we're missing are the fried chicken and potato salad (originally from Tenney's Picnic set), so we'll just skip that pack.
Nanea was very glad to help out here and volunteered to pose for all the photos!
The following photos show Nanea with the contents of each mystery pack (minus Tenney's chicken and potato salad). We're showing you these so that you're not disappointed when you open your $8.00 +tax mystery pack and it doesn't look like much. We LOVE doll food (and have a lot of it) but still can't help being a bit flattened when the contents of the box laid out in front of you don't feel like you got much for your money. That said, we buy a lot of AG food sets (many duplicates) and always think they're a good value in quality and price. Doesn't mean that everyone thinks we got enough for our money, but every piece that AG put in these mystery packs is a high-quality, nice piece of play food that will hold up to hours of play (or serve as a great addition to fancy set-ups). $4.00 +tax for each of these food pieces, in our opinion, is a nice and much needed addition to AG's offerings. Unlike other mystery packs, duplicates are always welcome when it comes to food! If we didn't already own so much doll food and were starting from scratch, we'd probably be purchasing twenty of these packs.
