So, the first thing to do is clear as much of the furniture to the edge of the room as possible. You can see that in this photo, as well as a lot of doll stuff already pulled out and covering the outer areas.
Here you can see me setting up the walls for Bunty's wool shop -- a sort of losing battle to get those walls to stay upright!
And just so that no one thinks photo shoots like this go off without mishap, most of the dolls end up having their fair share of topples or nose-dives -- usually right when I'm about to snap the perfect shot! Here are Bunty and Harold falling down after posing for an hour or two.
This is the Build-a-Bear set-up (which is actually in the same floor area as the concourse of the Wool Show! The walls are made of paneling, and Pop built a frame for them. They are two separate pieces that hook together at the corner with some hook-eye pieces. The flooring for the store is actually made of four more carpet sample squares from Home Depot.
